I started from scratch in 1987 in one of the worst recessions ever with just $500 and owned a $7.68m group employing over 200 operatives. In my first year of business I turned over $1.6m and hit $2.4m within 18 months.
First year pre tax profit was $368,000. We were introduced to the cleaning business by a surveyor who worked for one of our major clients - Balfour Beatty (They’re an international group and listed on the stock exchange).
He showed us a fail proof method of making money in construction cleaning which made a lot of our competitors scratch their heads - especially when we took their business from the inside ... I’ll cover that in one of my articles - or may be create a course. It’s unique that’s for sure.
The next venture was started as a little side line - a part time operation and grew into a $25,000 a month company. This is a very simple business and for that reason I’ve chosen to teach it to you first. It’s ideal for beginners or part timers who want to make some extra cash. You can get started on a shoestring and it easy to set up and operate.
It’s a great stepping stone for your first venture.
